Life is Moments

You know that terrible moment when you step on a scale for the first time in months after having thought you were doing pretty good this week, and you actually weigh a few pounds more than you expected?

I hate that moment.

I SO understand that feeling. Audrie

You asked for weight loss ideas that you hadn't already heard a thousand times. Well, you might have heard this one but since it's what I do, here goes: stress management. I don't know if it's true for boys but girls tend to get that middle tummy pudge because of hormones associated with stress. Kay

I know when I'm stressed out I eat more. And it's usually things like doritos and chocolate too. Plus, we're not getting younger. Sadly, I weigh more now than I did in HS and college. I think some of it is age - we just don't have as much energy.

I TOTALLY KNOW THAT SUCKY STEP ON THE SCALE FEELING. This year I tried accountability to keep myself in gear but it turns out my family that was supposed to be gettin heathier with me is doing as shitty of a job as I am. Go fig.

Stinking last pounds of baby weight anyways.

I actually dropped 5 just be eating tons more fruits and veggies and trying to do at least 20 minutes of exercise each day. But then it all plateaued and now I'm bored with it.

I am no help.

But if you come up with something, totally let me know!
